Well, I'm not particularly bothe...Hi Francisco. Well, I'm not particularly bothered by the film's dual focus. Sports movies tend to thrive on portrayals of competitors, to wit, Chariots of Fire, where I personally find Harold Abrahams far more interesting than Eric Liddell and yet appreciate their stories told in tandem. And Peter Morgan enjoys stories about contrasting personalities, as I mentioned. Lauda was, in the long run, indeed a greater champion and an impressive person, but in some ways fashioning an engaging narrative out of Hunt is more difficult, and the film succeeds in this. My complaint was along the lines of, the film doesn't deliver on the full power of Lauda's gruelling achievement, and that there's a darker story underneath this one, of one guy who died at 45 (perhaps as much from stresses on his body from racing as from what the film implies caused it, that is, having sex too much), and another who still carries the scars of his disaster. But still, as I've said already, it's a fun movie.Roderick Heathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08107539379079558068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1137730880076755122.post-23792340301143466912013-10-05T01:16:26.174+10:002013-10-05T01:16:26.174+10:00I really liked this movie, it is more about Lauda ...I really liked this movie, it is more about Lauda then Hunt, I think HOward went pretty fast through the recovery fase of the story because it was a pretty speedy recovery...Lauda was back on track in a couple of weeks! I mean, that's amazing to me.

I also think you couldnt have told the story without Hunt, they were rivals, but respected each other as well. But I'm with ya, I think Lauda story was way more interesting. But I guess it's Hemsworths good looks that sells the movie.
