Some critics have said this is the logical end-game for the style, and frankly, I do hope so. But as stated above, there was some cleverness to it that I can't dismiss. It's not so much the visual, I think, but the sound aspect, the constant punctuation of "Oh my God!" and "Holy Sh#t!" that sustains the illusion of unscripted authenticity.
